DECLARATION OF TRUST

And Conditions Governing The

EDWARD E. PECK MEMORIAL TROPHY

(Adopted November 5, 1984 - Amended October 23, 1986)

WHEREAS, Mrs. E. Peck having presented a trophy to the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association of 'Northern California, to be raced for by sailing yachts under its auspices ad control, the said trophy is hereby and designated the "Edward E. Peck Memorial Trophy".
    1. It shall never, under any circumstances, become the property of an individual or club but shall be held as a perpetual Memorial Trophy, to be raced for once a year, providing a challenge, is forthcoming. Either one of the participates must represent a recognized yacht club in Northern California.
    2. Title to this trophy shall be retained by PICYA as trustee and, when awarded to a club or person, may remain in it, possession until such time as trustee has designated for its return, at which time it must be delivered to an officer or proper representative of the PICYA.
    3. This trophy shall be awarded to the second place finisher in competition for "The Sir Thomas J. Lipton Challenge Trophy" race. The conditions for this second place finisher shall be the same as set forth in "The Sir Thomas J. Lipton Challenge".
    4. This declaration of trust may be amended by the Board of Directors of Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association
